Transitioning out of here....
I'm in my final week of active duty. I'm going through this phase that military members call "outprocessing." It's basically where I spend most of my time taking care of mandatory appointments that ensure that my transition out of the military is a smooth one, and that I am, for all intents and purposes, wiped from the installation database. It's typical that commanders allow those who are outprocessing the time to complete these appointments; the week before the final outprocessing day is dedicated to to this task. By and large, though, the appointments are very short, so a lot of my time has been spent hanging out and talking to people that I'll probably never see again in my life. And blogging, for example. Yay!
